I just came in from raising the flag for Memorial Day. This flag is very special to the wife and I as our son brought it back from Afghanistan. He just retired last week after 28 years in the army. I am also putting on a scan of the certificate that came with the flag. We only fly it on Memorial Day and Veterans Day as both days mean a lot to us as does the flag. Hopefully that way it will last many years.P.S. If the ladies on the forum will take note look at the certificate and notice the gender of the pilot of the attack helicopter. You gals have come a long way since I was in the service 50 some years ago. I am glad to see it.
