I know this not the right place for this, but I've got to say it.

I came back safe, but others fell in my place.

Thank you. I will never forget. God bless you.

Hi Bill41: I thank you and all the Vets who have served. I would have been A Vietnam era vet had I not been rejected. Many of my friends went, fortunately most came back, but none with out significant personality changes. My own Father was a Navyman between WWI and WWII my brother served in both WWII and Korea.. My Uncle served in WWII. I have a grandson in the Navy now. Again my Thanks to all the Vets who have served this great nation.

Thank you, Bill.
And thanks to all of our vets.
Even though many have come home without PHYSICAL harm, there are still scars.
My grandson was in Afghanistan for one tour....soon going on his second, and my wife's brother has done four tours. Man....the emotional scars and the stories...when the finally talk about it, are horrible. My brother in law is certainly a "different" person.
We cannot thank our military enough!

Let's never forget those that did not come home and always remember what this day is about.

Thanks Bill for this post and thank you all Veterans living and deceased. I hope I am not out of line to point some of your readers here to my post along this same line of thanking all Veterans. I'll take my lumps for this cause. I hope some of you will help us in your respective States.
