Trump is scrutinized at every turn. How can a man who likes his eggs over well be a good president? This is deplorable!

I know many people who are afraid of salmonella in eggs and always have them cooked thru.

But I'm thinking you posted this as a joke?

Coming from the HuffPo, this was not a "joke"; they are (well) renown for putting up "Fake News", and, as a source of real information, are TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.

Presidential ability and its surrounding politics is a puzzlement to me. To put it mildly, I was not anxious to see either of the candidates win. I felt as though I had to choose either Moe Howard or Leona Helmsley. I thought the Dems had it locked because of the way they smashed through with a resounding win for President Obama's second term. Taking 100% of Ohio's precincts was spectacular, to say the least.

Obama became president virtually untried. Like Clinton, he had never held a job in the private sector. Apparently, his total experience there was as "community organizer" or whatever... basically an organizer of discontent. His tenure in his state legislature was far from inspiring and his service in the national senate was brief and at about the same level. About his only plus was a truly inspiring speech at an earlier Democratic national convention. Like many other folks during his term, I was frightened by his politics, particularly by his use of executive orders. I was full of gloom and doubt, but I figured that he is irrevocably MY president, for better or worse, and at least is not another Buchanan.

At the end of Obama's presidential journey several things become apparent. As another Hogger has pointed out, our nation is in pretty good shape except for the soaring debt (and blame for that belongs to both parties), and his approval rating is very good indeed. I believe he grew to fill the office. The presidency seems to do this for a man.

Now we have soon-to-be president Trump... experienced in business but not in government. I think of him as a minor demagogue, "full of high sentence but a bit obtuse. At times, indeed, almost ridiculous; almost, at times, the fool." But I also think he has merit. He works hard. He is successful. I believe he has respect for our constitution and laws. Oh, if only he could learn to think before he speaks. But, like President Obama, for better or worse, he is MY president. I can only hope and pray, like Obama and so many others, he will grow to fill the office.

I for one support his choices of high fat foods. The faster he can clog up those arteries, the sooner we'll be rid of him.

So HuffPo bemoans his penchant for overwell eggs, but can only find a photo of the exact opposite, a sunny side up egg, to illustrate this sin?

Great journalism!

When Donald Trump becomes the President, if and when he looks the American people in the eye and lies to them repeatedly about a major policy initiative or law (Obamacare) then your statement might be fair. But Obama deserves every bit of the criticism he received. Maybe more. I know many people that were willing to give him a chance. But when he lied repeatedly that changed many peoples view of him, myself included.

Certainly a thought, but the unrelenting critiques turned into out and out bashing very early on. We're already seeing some of that same behavior towards Trump, some of which is undoubtedly well deserved and some that is not. We shall hope for the best!

I believe that all things tend to sort themselves out. Trump will not become president. He will either be assassinated, or he will stand down. If I'm wrong, you can rip the piss out of me in February.

I've just used the words "assassinated" and "president" in the same post.
I am now going to be a person of interest.
God bless America.
