Why is that? Winter? Lived in Bar Harbor for 3 years back in mid-seventies and loved it. Cool nights, shooting stars, first time I saw the Aurora Borealis on Cadillac Mtn. Although, back then the restaurants weren't very good. Of course, lot's of lobster pots! <|;>) Been back lately, esp. to Southwest Harbor and the restaurants were stellar although Bar Harbor is more like a typical mall now rather than the old time feel it had back in '74. Ah, the memories.
