Juvie cedar waxwing + a robin taking the big gulp... photos that "look like they were photoshopped"☺
#1 - I did not replace the background; it is an out of focus gray roof in shadow to which I added some texture. 1/800 sec, f/9, high ISO with noise.
#2 - one of many unreal looking shots I have of waxwings, robins, starlings popping their fruit breakfast outside my balcony. This was at 1/1000 sec, f/8.
Do you know the "it looks like it was photoshopped" mantra is so common now you can Google it
Canon T3i, Canon EF 70-300 mm lens. Thanks for viewing!

I don't know that they look like they were "Photoshopped" - they just look like really good photos of those two birds! And timing accounts for a lot when we take photos of wildlife, for sure!

Thanks for your comments, Steve! I hadn't even planned to try for photos of my busy tree this winter as I have so many from past four years. But glad I did
Fantastic shots, Linda! So good, they look unreal, lol!

Charming photo of the waxwing Linda, the inquisitive look your getting, the eye catching tail feathers and the detail on the branch making this image one of my favourites!
Fantastic shots, I love bird photos.

These two birds are so photogenic Linda, love the Waxwing pose. Your timing on the Robin is spot on! Excellent set I enjoyed it very much.

Excellent shots, Linda. In good ole Aussie vernacular, the second one is a ripper of a shot.
