Just got back from a trip to Cuba. The cars were the era when I was young. A lot of vendors on the street trying to sell anything in order to make a living.

looks like a 54 Chev Belair and two 55 Belairs the Buick I'M not sure of .

There eventually be rich Cuban's who sell their old cars......Now, I wish I could find that old Bugatti hanging around in a barn over there somewhere....

Or not. A lot of people look at the idea of a quick buck importing these classic cars. My research into this tells me that the trade embargo prevented not only auto imports but repair parts as well. Most of these cars have been cobbled together with whatever will keep them running for 50 years and are not worth shipping back to the U.S.
