Zookeeper punching kangaroo in the face - funny

Without knowing anything about Kangaroo behavior or the dog in the video I have to wonder what was going on with the Roo holding it like that. I thought they could do damage with claws and back legs but don't know what happens when they tussell with dogs.

Since it was a hunting dog it is likely the scene started with the dog harrassing the Roo.

Kangaroos hate dogs. They usually provoke them and make them go into a water. There they hold the dogs head under water until the dog drowns.
