Problem with D619 focus point.

I am using Back Button Focus. Aperture priority and for the most part shoot in Continuous. I can not move my focus point or square in any direction. It is locked in one position. I have no idea how this has happened or how to correct it.......Thank You.

D610 by chance?

Check the focus point selection lock found on the back of the camera - upper right of screen -

Page 101 of the users manual

Back of camera below the AE-L button/back button focus, there is a switch with the letter L printed on it.. Move the switch off of the L which places the focus button in the lock position......
Edit: see I was beat to it, fancy pictures and all.......

Yeah, the D619 has had this problem since it was first built and left the assembly line. The only way to correct it is to trade it in on a D610.....

Hope you didn't bite them off. But you can always use Siri to dictate your speech.

Ha ha... I've seen some pretty funny things come from Siri's voice "interpretations".

Me too, especially. I speak southern and Siri cannot handle the southern accent that inserts the "y" in our verbs.
