Hmmm... It definitely provokes emotion. Not sure i like the emotion, but I like that it does that. Nice work.

I think you've done pretty well in your mixing of images and text. All of it "fits" with the other elements and the color treatment of the components works out OK. The face is troubling, in several ways. Whatever that is all over her is distractingly unpleasant, and that is really all I can look at, trying to figure it out - scars? moles? freckles? blood splatters? paint? acne? Even if you want that to be the effect, I wonder if you could do with less of it, particularly in the areas like her eyebrows where nothing normal is likely gonna be found on real people. Her jaw looks a little oddly shaped, as if the chin has been stretched in PS, but maybe she's just emaciated and oddly shaped. There is a whitish halo along the lower part of her face that you might want to fiddle with a bit more.
Good to know my "Forest Light" photo made it into your stockpile:

This one does not go on the wall....nor on any T-shirts I care to wear. I looked at this a long time to try to figure out the steps you took. The overall impression is that the technical aspects of this photo are really nice. She is a very moody girl; but that is, I'm sure, what you were going for. I like the image very much; just don't want to look at her too long because she scares the Hell out of me. lol

P.S. Still working on those piers. Might have something to post this evening so you can see what I'm working on.

Linda further to my PM of apology I have started a thread about unauthorized use of images which you may wish to contribute to as a recent "victim".
this is a strong image (to me). I like it very much. There were some good points made about this image, but in the end I find myself admiring your skills very much. I really, really like how the colors work together - words were ok for a poster type thing, but I thought the image/composite stood on it's own (but I also kind of like how those white letters frame the bottom)

Personally I don't like it, but I'm not sure I can separate the attitude from the image in my mind, which is why I underlined the first word.
Really, really like it Billy! Your sometimes gritty slice of life shots don't always appeal to me but here,
whether real or not, looks like genuine emotion has risen in response to a terrible disaster in her life.
Guess it might have several uses, but she has a lot to be "getting over", so the words are a a bit hard
on her it seems.

She likely won't until she sees a good dermatologist!

Is it that or just mud on her face?
