I need a tank of fuel oil for the house, is $1500 a reasonable price to ask for my AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm 1:2.8GII ED N VR lens?

I sold mine for a little over $2,000. I can sympathize with your oil bill. I heat with wood now. It's warmer and cheaper. I use oil for hot water and very cold weather.

That's a problem with names. Every model is called the 70-200mm. They should make it obvious and easy to tell which is old and which is new. The chart that brucewells linked is good.

your generous offers make me feel good but having to sell a couple of my toys may teach me to plan ahead
for life's little sand traps.
You just have to laugh it off sometimes. My SS check isn't enough to live on buts its just high enough
that i can't qualify for food stamps, food bank, free rent, free utilities or medical assistance.
Guess i'll have to move too mexico and then sneak back across the border.

As i said, its nice that someone would offer but i don't think i would have
a clear conscience taking snapshots with a $3000 camera and $2000 lens while
the man puts oil bought by my fellow hoggers in the tank.
I'll lie in the bed i've made for myself but reserve the right to rant against the

Depends on how quickly you want to sell it, but I 'd get a loan myself. It'll cost you close to $3000 to replace it.
