Visit with a red-headed woodpecker

This red-headed woodpecker I have photographed high up in a tree on two occasions on a 11/2mile trail, I visit quite often. On this last trip on the trail he flew towards me landed about 30 feet away on a tree trunk ( just a talking). Then flew on this brush branch as shown in 3rd photo, let me take a couple photos and flew off. Maybe he was curious or just wanted to chat.

Thanks, yes he sure had something bothering him on his head. I sure enjoyed him when he decided to come face to face with me for a visit, what a special moment.
