Not that it really matters, but, that's f/1.8 not f/8.

Yes, it does matter; and, that's what we thought before your explanation.

Love those doggies

Your right, it is a big difference. I must have been thinking of that other lens I am selling. Too many things going on at once.

Thanks, Tom. They are my daughter's dogs. They are mother and son.

Selling advice on this lens .
Canon is selling refurbished 50mm f1.8 STM lenses for eighty nine bucks , so 75.00 maybe too high for this older lens ?
Hey I hope you sell it , it's a fabulous lens . The bokkeh is real nice on this . Then again were are you going to get a f1.8 lens for seventy five bucks ! But I bet at 60.00 it would sell very quickly . Good luck with your sale .
Makes a very good portrait lens at the APS-C 80mm equiv . Great lens all around .

The original post said that. Admin corrected it for me.

Couldn't find a refurbed on Canon site, just new one for $125 which was out of stock.

Keep looking . They do have them but not all the time . Is that why you're selling it ? You want the STM ? They're both excellent lenses .
But yes , it's normally 125.00 . Your asking price then is very fair .

No, I have no intention of getting any more photography gear. I am selling some camera equipment to buy a new laptop computer. I currently have a 18-135mm lens (and others). Since this covers the 50mm range I have no idea or forgot why I bought the thing in the first place. Especially since I never use it.

Is your 18-135 an STM lens ? If so I'd like to make you an offer if it's in good condition . Thank you .

He probably changed it before it expired. You have about a 1/2 hour to make changes.

You have one hour to edit a regular post but it looks like, from what I am seeing, that I am able to edit both the title and the description of a post in the Classified section if I want. I could have corrected it myself instead of getting Admin involved. As Johnny Carson would say, "I did not know that".
