Great set with some unusual perspectives. #1 is really cool, took me a second to figure out what I was looking at. #4 is my favorite and would love the opportunity to to try to make that catch. I was down the road from you over Thanksgiving and on the Balboa peninsula. Just to the north of the pier on the beach is a fresh fish market where they bring in the daily catch and clean the fish. Of coarse, the birds love it and there are some great opportunities for gulls and brown pelicans. I will be posting some I got later this morning.
Nice work and thanks for sharing.

According to the guys who run the fish market, the pelicans are not there all the time. They seem to come in when there is some bad weather in the forecast. Considering the weather we have just had, I think I may have been lucky. From Huntington beach, go south on Pacific Coast Highway to Newport, go right on Balboa blvd to 19th street. Its the Newport Beach Pier, not the Balboa pier. Goole Newport Beach pier and the Dory Fishing Fleet market. You should be able to find it without a problem.
@ Nalu : Thank alot for direction
I'll be there someday next month
Have goog day
