I recently began shooting with a DSLR. I'm a amateur photographer/hobbyist. I bought ACDSee Pro 9 back in August. I've only used it a handful of times, but so far I like it. Can anyone offer any tips and tricks to help me with my post-processing learning curve?
You are already one version late....

I am aware of that, Captain Obvious. Your reply is neither a tip or a trick.
It is a big tip. Drop that software as an editor. For the same price you can get PS CC and LR that are much more powerful and much more documented.
Sorry, Pal... Gonna have to ignore you. You're just a smart aleck, can't follow instructions, and you don't have anything constructive to contribute to this thread. See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!

I use ACDSee Pro 9 every day, but not for image manipulation. File renaming, format conversion, resizing, sorting, contact sheets, PDF conversions... It works great for those things. I have used ACDSee's raw procesor but prefer Adobe Camera Raw for that. It was pretty good though. I think there are lot of video tutorials for the other features. I use Photoshop for my image manipulating- have used it far longer than ACDSee, but I have been an ACDSee user since it was freeware. It has grown up to become a respectable adult.
I did find a couple of YouTube clips, but just reviews, no tutorials. Yet. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep looking!

I may dig back into it again since I'm not real busy this time of year.
Cheers!
