Nikon L-700

A friend of mine called me yesterday asking what I knew about the Nikon L-700. I guess it's a rifle scope? I'm a Canon person but told him I'd post the question on Hog to possibly hear from anyone who owns and uses same. Of course he Googled it but wondered if he could get input from one who had one. Comments welcome.

Its a 2.5X to 10X zoom rifle scope with a built-in Laser Rangefinder. Part of Nikons Monarch line of rifle scopes, all quite popular. I never had one but my brother in law has 2 of them.

I do not have tat one but an older Nikon Monarch scope. Built rugged and works like a dream. I like their line of scopes as well as Leupold.
