Iguana Fight

I watched these two iguanas go at it hammer and tong for a good 15 minutes. An alligator (not photographed) came out of the water and was crossing the berm when he saw the lizards, slinked up and charged. Iguanas escaped under the bridge and resumed fight for another 10 minutes. Finally the bloodied one ran. I saw him again today a week later and he is scarred but seems ok.

I was glad when one of the iguanas ran and the fight ended. The one on the left was the better fighter.

I guessed the left one was better fighter (biter), more blood on the right Iguana. Colorful animal.

Life is nasty, brutish and short. Nothing has changed since the beginning. I really am an optimist but life is cruel. Thanks for the input. Lizard on the right is healing nicely. I checked on him today.
