Very few folks visit the Bay Area with a camera and fail to come away with a least a snapshot of this wonderful bridge. Sunday May 27, will be the Golden Gate Bridge's 75th anniversery. Post your shots. It would be fun to see older images.

Hi rockdog: here is one of mine shot with my old P&S (point&shoot) HP 315. Taken from the old military base end of the bridge in '03.

Here you can see the tops of some of the old buildings.

Thanks for posting travlnman46, The Marin headlands gives a great perspective of the bridge, the city, of most of the Bay Area. I like your shots.

Thank you rockdog: I appreciate the praise. I had no idea this area existed until an old highschool buddy took me there, he was stationed there during part of the Nam era.

Nice Swede, I like your composition. The fog can add such drama to the bridge. The fog also sell lots of sweatshirts to summertime tourists.

Nice Swede, I like your composition. The fog can add such drama to the bridge. The fog also sell lots of sweatshirts to summertime tourists.
Thank you. As I remember the day, within another 15 minutes the bridge was covered in fog.
