My foggy day photos

I went up into the mountains behind our town today hoping to get up and out of the fog that we have had in the valley for the last few days. After shooting my new Taurus 38 special revolver for a while I decided to grab some "fog under" photos. Here are a few for ya all. The first one was when I was on my way up and I was just breaking out of the fog with the low sun busting through. The other ones are truly "fog under" mountain valley photos.

I enjoyed the second and last images most, and the frames are a nice touch.

I hope your revolver shooting went as well and your camera shooting. If so you had the best of both worlds.

Both went very well, the Nikon didn't misfire, the Canon shot just fine and the little Taurus 38 special with a 2 inch barrel hit the mark ! Although I forgot my ear protectors and my ever present ear ringing is a bit annoying. Part of that is because I spent so many years in noisy mills, factories and machine shops earning money for new cameras and ski vacations !

I have two more to add to this set, thank you. The taller mountains in the back are the Mission Mountains, named for the Jesuit missions below their western flanks. The missionaries who ran these Indian schools were sometimes called "Blackrobes". Thanks for looking.

These are all nice photos--I like them. Also, how's the new .38?
