It was a clear night to shoot this about 3/4 moon phase.
Hand held shot. I used 560mm.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/125 - f/8 - ISO @ 160.
Excellent as usual, Regis. 👏🏻
Great picture for hand held you must have a steady hand.🍷

Undoubtedly never spills a drop, but I'm sure he is able to get some great action shots if some were to fall!

Yes, I do have a steady hand for a 72 year old fellow.
Thank you very much, eurobird.

Almost 7 years of hand held shooting has steadied my grip. Practice makes perfect (almost).
Thank you, DaveO.
Great image, Regis ,and I believe the date is this Monday that the moon will be the closest to the earth that it has been for many years, and will appear to be about ten percent larger and brighter than normal!

Very nice Regis, can't wait until Sunday nights moon!
Even better than your usual greats, maybe b/c the moon is closer (?). I wonder what will happen if you merged your best shots to get the entire moon in best relief (!).
