You should have used a reflector to fill in the shadows on her forehead and gotten rid of or lightened those wrinkles, which are very unflattering. Even some basic editing skills could have accomplished it in post production.

The wrinkles are part of the ladies character !! why would I want to remove them ?
The last image was not meant be Hi-Key, it was taken as an available light image.
