Summer's Best

Sold our "on the ocean" (OK 1/4 mile from the ocean) stick house in Smith River, CA this Fall so won't have the opportunity for daily walks on the beach any more. :-( Our first photo challenge to be shown this Friday at our southern California's (Aguanga, CA) RV Resort's PhotoBugs group is our "Summer's Favorites". I get so much out of seeing 'youalls' photos that I thought I'd share them with you. I'd like comments of what part of what photo "drew your eyes". All photos were taken with my Panasonic TM900 video camcorder.

My old digital camera is 4:3. Both of the photo clubs that I belong to use a 16:9 HD TV to show the results of our twice a month 'challenges'. I like to compose in-camera (not in PP) so I just used that camcorder for the past four or five years. I did purchase a Panasonic Lumix (16:9) very recently. I have a lot of 'learnin to do'. Here is a reverse laugh, I purchased their DMC-F2300 model because of it's capability of 4K VIDEO.

Waynet, Smudgey, and Sailorsmom: tnx so much for your positive comments about my "Summer's Best". My motivation is the every two week 'challenges' that keep me actively looking at the world around me. This was certainly emphasized after a 1/2 day photo 'trip' to a coastal garden. After we looked at the photo's shown by each of those in our club, many of us saw things in the photos that we hadn't seen in person! Strange, but it is fun to see things from other people's eyes.
