Very ice, and very typical of that area. It's one of our favorite places, and we go there at least a couple times a year. Love to go on a whale watch tour. Unfortunately, last time we went, it was very hazy from forest fire smoke, so my pictures didn't turn out so well.
We've been there not quite a half-dozen of times. Went on a glacier tour once.
Normally we stay in military lodging since I'm a veteran, but last trip stayed at a b&b outside town.
We like to visit the Alaska Sea Life Center, and also Exit Glacier where the loss of ice demonstrates global warming.
