Great shots, Linda. I love the composition and drama of the first one and the second shot is stunning.

1. Foggy pasture at sunrise. I changed the white balance in raw editor to cool colors from the as-shot sunrise warm.

2, They're baacckk...cedar waxwings will be feasting in the trees outside my apartment for the next several months while we residents tip-toe through dropped half-eaten fruit!

Thanks for viewing

Looking at the cow in the foggy pasture gives me a chilly feeling, the bird with its bright colors warms me up again. Both great shots!!!

Thank you! I was standing on the landing outside my entry door; I have bird's eye view living on second floor

The bird is nicely done, a very handsome fellow. But gotta say I have a thing for post-apocalyptic cows, as they wander dazedly across those burned-out fields, trying to avoid the zombies and giant ants (the zombies actually aren't all that bad, but those ants--boy, howdy!)

; )

Nice work!
