Very nice series, Angela. I really like what you did with the color in post processing.

I think most people who post here like constructive critiques! On a recent post of mine, people were SUGGESTING different things to try..(Angela being one of them Linda another)..and I tried them and posted them. It was a fun exchange, and they never said mine was wrong, just suggested what might look better! When I tried their suggestions and posted them, if I didn't like them better than mine, I would have said so! Sometimes a suggestion seems good, but then when tried, it doesn't work!
Also when someone gives a critique, I find it helpful to be able to look at their work, to see if they know what they are talking about! There are some on here who are all about the tough critique, and then when you look at their work,it's crap, or they don't post at all!
There are also some on here who will find fault with every single shot that is posted, just to try to convince people that they must really be in the know!
I believe that every critique should be a suggestion, or a "I wonder if it would look better if"..rather than "that should be this, and that should be that" !
If anyone gives me suggestions, and I believe they have merit, and if possible, I will try them and post them, but if someone tells me that all my shots should be in color, because we see in color, or that everything should be SOOC, etc. well that's just their opinion and doesn't mean mine are wrong!...and these are just my thoughts, and doesn't mean they are right!

Bob, glad you enjoyed! I love old buildings also, to shoot, process and would love to own one... but since I don't and never will, I'm content with shooting them!!

I'm confused. When people post pics are we supposed to be complimentary or helpful. Overall nice set of pics, but when using wide angle lens we have to be cautious of perspective. The perspective of the first two shots are way off. I like some of the post processing, but the perspective could and should be changed. If we are not supposed to critique pics here, than my comments come with a sincere apology.
Thanks for your visit pjarbit and for your comment. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions in photography, but you must understand, these were all rushed shots I took with my sx50, not a wide angle, while visiting my daughter in the city. Believe me, if I had the time to sit and compose a shot, they might have been different, but I actually like the off-set look with my work. I see you've been a member on the UHH longer than I have and have never posted any of your work, I'd love to view it!!
Enjoy the day and thanks again for your visit!
Thanks, Merry for your always kind words... always appreciated and glad you enjoyed this set from the big city!
