All equipment in mint condition and hardly used.

1) Nikon D810 - Battery Grip - MB-D12 - $150

2) Sigma Art Series - Nikon 35mm f/1.4 - Never Used - $500 - Sold

3) Nikon AF-S Teleconverter - TC-14E III 1.4 - $325 - Sold

4) Nikon - SB-400 - Flash - $100 - Sold

Priced to sell. Make an offer? The Sigma is a great lens. Still in box and wrapping. Will throw in a Nikon battery with the grip as a bonus.

Hi Mickey!
I demoed the Sony mirrorless at the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Las Vegas last weekend. Loved it. I demoed the Alpha7RII, if memory serves me correctly. I can't argue your choice.

I travel around the world taking pictures as a hobby. I go on at least two photo workshops a year. Use Muench workshops. Great people. I am tired lugging around my d810 with the monster lenses and another Nikon as a second camera body. My two Sony's are the A6300 and Alpha 7R. The Nikons size was taking all the enjoyment out of the hobby for me. In fact, now that I use the Sony's, my pictures have improved since I enjoy it much more. There are now over 90 lenses available for the Sony's. Also sold my full size tripod and bought a Really Right Stuff series 1 tripod and ball head. Am going to Peru on November 3 for two weeks and cannot wait to take pictures there with my Sony's

Made the same switch about 2 years ago and never looked back. Been traveling cross country for the last 4 months visiting and hiking the national parks. My A7RII and 6300 are amazing cameras.

I have a 6300 and A7R the 24.2 megapixel camera. you have the monster or 43 megapixel. I love these cameras. The 6300 is my favorite. There are two falses in photography today
1) The bigger the camera the better
2) Full frame is always better than crop

Larry,

Funny you mentioned Peru. I was lugging my Nikon D4s camera & gear up to Machu Pucchu. When the staff saw my tripod & camera they wanted me to get a permit. I think a Sony full frame would been much easier to lug around.

Either a crop or full frame sony is the way to go. The enjoyment was taken out of my photography with the Nikon gear. My picture taking greatly improved with the Sonys
