Thank you Linda.....I've had my eye on that trestle for a couple yrs. I might add that it had two strands of wires going completely across it.....I painstakingly removed them!
appreciate your view and opinion!

is that an abandoned bridge?
No Oldtigger....its an old train trestle....still in use! I've had my eye on this for a couple yrs but avoided taking pictures because there were wires going across it...full length.....but I decided to tackle it this yr.....sun was right and I removed the wires best I could....Thanks again for viewing.

Nice shot! It would be interesting to take a set of pictures at different seasons or times of day. Is there any way that you could eliminate some of the bright brown grass in the foreground? I tried covering with an envelope across my screen and think cropping would eliminate too much of the water, but maybe a few steps in one direction might do it. However, I don't know if that would have sent you tumbling over the bank. At any rate, it is a good picture as is and I appreciate the effort it must have taken to eliminate the wires! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your input Cape Codder. I too noticed the large amount of brown grass but it did happen to be the season that we are in. Trust me , it was a lighter brown during the summer when we had a water drought! Everything around here was parched and brown like straw. I am sure that there is someone with more expertise and photo editing that could do something about it. But it is not my field. I just enjoy capturing a moment, or perhaps seeing something in others don't see it. I also have taken other shots during different seasons. But the wires were always such A distraction that I never did anything with the pictures. For me this was quite an undertaking to get rid of those wires. However I will keep it in mind as we approach this next season of winter. As far as the different times of day, at the time I took this picture it probably was the best time for the sun was shining on it. Without the sunshine on it it looks like a darker old Trestle bridge . I printed it out as a 13 x 19....and to me it really pops! So again thank you for viewing and for
your opinion. Keep watching and maybe You will see one that I will be able to post for the winter.
