Our grandson asked if we would take him to see the Big Horn Sheep. We drove to the desert and didn't have much luck on our first hike but later we saw more sheep then I have ever seen. We tried to count them but they were all over the mountain. My guess would be over 3 dozen. The Rams were very much trying to impress the ladies. Here are a few of the photos I took.

Fantastic photos, Terri! I've seen very few bighorns in my canyon this year. I think they all went south

The bighorns in our desert did well this year. I'm surprised at how well they look after the summer. So far lots of lambs have survived this year. I have been spending a lot of time with my daughter so am not able to get out and do much photography. Tomorrow she has to have more tests run at the hospital. Hopefully the doctors can find out what is going on. Terri

Thank you Angela for your nice comments and asking about Lisa. It was nice to get away and be with my grandson, Alan and my camera. It was amazing to see so many sheep. The best part was seeing so many healthy babies. They are making a comeback in our desert. Tomorrow I'll be at the hospital with Lisa and her husband. Hopefully the doctors can find some answers. Terri

Nice pictures. I think I noticed a tracking collar on the neck of one of the nannies. You lucked out with your pictures.
