I photographed this albino squirrel at Devil's Den State Park in the beautiful state of Arkansas. He was very accommodating...

With the red eyes I'll guess it is an albino. Fantastic capture. I have never seen one.

What a lucky chance sighting. Good shot also. Wish I could see one sometime.

Great picture. Here's a little something you might find equally interesting. In the Central Coast of California (Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove), we used to see black squirrels. I asked a warden about it, and he said it is a color variation, much like albinism, for grey squirrels. I don't recall if I was ever lucky enough to get a picture, but I'll see if I can find it.

I have heard about black squirrels but have never seen one. I can't imagine I would be fortunate enough to see both😊

Very good shot, Mkincy! I read quite awhile ago about a place where you can go to see white squirrles..might have been in one of the Carolinas.

I have a picture I took about ten years ago of a white one in my yard. He was around just a short time and am sure a hawk picked him up for a dinner date.

We had a white squirrel in our back yard several years in a row.
The third year we had two. Here's a picture. I know it's not very
good but does show two of them together. I had to search for
the picture and found out that it was from eight years ago. They
haven't been back since.
