Space Shuttle Endeavor...
In Sept, 2012, the Space Shuttle Endeavor was retired from service (the last one that went to the ISS). It was retired in Calif. in Los Angeles. As it was being retired it took a long out of the way flight to get to LA. One of the places it flew was here in Sacramento. I was going through some old photos this morning and found what I took. I had just gotten a Nikon D5100 and was using the 55-300 lens that came with it. My wife and I were on the top of a 4 level parking structure across from the state capital watching for the flyby. Here are a couple of shots:

Great shots, thanks for sharing. chase
A moment in history. That's cool.
You must have loved taking that one
I was totally stoked about having the opportunity to have shot something like that. I was so happy when I got home and loaded the pics into the computer, The top one spent a lot of time as my home screen pic... Thanks for the positive feedback...
Nice shots and I envy you the opportunity, man I miss watching those flights.
