Ok, I went to turn it on and absolutely nothing happen, completely dead. Bought it new from Best Buy 3 years ago. I just ordered a refurbished T6s from Canon. I guess I will have a backup once I figure this no power issue. Thoughts...

Do a Google search for the problem. This is just one find of many:

No insult intended but is the battery charged?

Peter, at the risk of getting my wrists slapped for asking the obvious:
Is your battery charged?
Is the battery properly seated?
Did you push the on/of button all the way down, or if a small handle, did you move it over all the way and did it stay put?
Is the battery cover closed properly?
Is your card cover closed properly? (and is there a card in the slot?)

I suggest you re-charge the battery, install it, and if the camera still doesn't work, press the info button (per your camera's manual, page 320). Or even press that info button now.

Recharge the battery to its fullest. Be sure you have the correct SD card as outlined in the manual. Have two different lenses available to use. If the first lens doesn't work, put on the other. That worked once on a friend's Canon camera. No guarantees though.

Assuming this is in answer to my post - no need to yell... I can hear you.

Sorry I was not yelling, my bad on typing... but it's working...I guess it really was a dead, dead battery. strange I have a battery grip with the option of 2 batteries or 4 double AA and that did not work finally took off the grip and put in 1 battery from my bag and it worked......OMG Thank you...

So, does that mean I won't get my wrist slapped???? Good!!!! :-)
I have often hesitated to give what should be obvious, as solutions to a problem.
But then, if I think about how often I have overlooked the obvious. Want to know the worst one?
I had taken some pics of the grandkids, when the phone rang. I quickly put the camera on a high shelf, and didn't look at it again till a couple of days later. Turned it on, nothing happened....
Actually, I turned if off as it was still on when I put it on the shelf. Lesson learned: check the position of the on/of button or handle.
And like I said: pay it forward if/when the time comes!

Someone had this problem a couple of weeks ago. His solution was to move the switch back and forth quickly a few times - bad contacts.

It's already ordered, I figured I went from good to better next time a full frame camera, because I do have a 10-22 Canon lens and 70-200f4L for the Rebel series. I do use LR CC www.PeterLeonPhotography.com I shoot MLS listings 90% my own listings 10% others because I am not a true professional photographer.... Just adding to what I do as a Real Estate Broker.

You use your camera to help you make a living. I assume your work is published in Real Estate adds. That puts you in the semi-pro category.
