Sunsets: calm and serene one week after Hurricane Matthew... what a change!

I took these photos from our patio of the Intracoastal Waterway (Ponte Vedra Beach in NE FL). A week earlier we experienced a 3+ foot surge and 75+ mph winds at our house. The first photo was taken 10/14 and the second taken 10/15. Please check out the download. Thanks!
Wonderful place you have. And pictures.

Thank you photophile and tomcrzn! We are very fortunate to live here - it's beautiful.... but could also send you hundreds of pictures of downed trees, piles of logs and branches.... and, unfortunately, many piles of carpeting, drywall etc etc on lawns where people got water in their homes and have had to move out!.... and may not be back in for a long time! :-(
I am 10 miles from Jax Beach and we were very lucky this time around. Glad you and yours are all okay. My friends home in St. Augustine had more than 2 feet of flood waters. The skies in our area are beautiful and you captured it well. Hopefully it will be a looooong time before we have to go through that again.

Thank you for looking in DeanS and roxiemarty. I feel awful for those with significant damage and have to moved from their homes. I am very grateful!
Very good Dr J, it amazes me how quickly the weather can change, I have been through a few hurricanes myself, living on the Texas coast.

Thank you! I have a great place for sunsets. I use a tripod, ISO 100, f11 and usually about 1/10 of a second dending on light. They are spectacular to watch!
