A replica built in San Diego ventured up the coast to Morro Bay this week. The San Salvador is the ship that Cabrillo used to explore the Western Coast of America in 1542. It is shown anchored in the bay and another shot giving a feeling of scale is also posted.I recall that it is 192 feel long.

192' was a heck of a large ship for 1592 and even a century later. Are you sure you have the date and length correct?

It is 92 feet long, not 192. Good pictures.

I got the date from a web page on the ship. The length might be mis-recalled from a local news article about the boats arrival a week ago. It might have been 92 feet. But, not the ship is anchored off shore and I couldn't board it.
