OK Young Jim rust positively rocks!!! Created 3 jpegs at 1.5 EV apart from your original adjusted in Camera Raw. A good bathe in HDR developing fluid. Back into CR adjust and then into Photoshop. Enhance the rust and to give it some depth a play with Threshold adjustment in the Channel palette. Get rid of the telegraph/power pole added some clouds and pop in a few NIK filters.
Nice image to play with.
