Switch to Fujifilm???

I have been reading and hearing nothing but great things about Fujifilm cameras and lenses. Has anyone made the switch from full frame to Fujifilm? Is it worth it? I wish I could see images taken with both types of cameras.

Do some serious research. And while you might consider postings on this site, I would not suggest you let those be your primary reference points. And that includes my reply.

I loved my Nikons, but they got to heavy for me so I switched to Fuji. I have the XPro-2 and X-E2. I love the feel and how they handle. Most of the control I need are on the camera not buried in submenus.

I switched fro the D7100 to the Fuji X-T1 and love it. Getting used to the EVF took me about 1 minute.

Before you do anything drastic, rent the fuji equipment you're interested in and use it on a shoot!

Not me, but I can tell you that we started out with FUJIFILM (U.K.) bridge cameras and couldn't be happier with the service. Ones still going after 10 years, need to tape up battery cover as plastic has a chip that wont snap closed now, son's one packed up after around 7 years and was unrepairable - so they offered a stonking discount on a new replacement, and we've even bought two P & S refurbs. and they've been good too. My first SLR was a Fujifilm ST801 so I've always liked the brand. ONLY reason I use CANON now is because I can borrow a lot of expensive glass from my sister and my neighbour.

If that would be my choice I would definitely upgrade to the Fuji. I have been looking at it as well and the hold back is budget at this time.
Fuji makes incredible lenses as well including some phenomenal high end lenses so they know what they are doing.

In addition to superb image quality most Fuji users enjoy the fact that they are small, light, rugged, weather resistant, etc. If you don't mind the bulk of your DSLRs then probably not worth it unless you just wanted to try something different. I got a X-T1 about a year ago and my D750 has been sitting in its bag ever since. Seriously considering selling it along with a slew of Nikkor lenses. Check out the specs on the new X-T2. Even better sensor, AF, frame rate than the X-T1.

I was thinking about it, finally I went to my local store. I played with two Fuji cameras for a while. XT-1 was nice, but I could not get used to the viewfinder, I didn’t like it. I took several shots on my card that I brought with me , the images were good but not better than images taken with my Nikon.
After trying the camera for a while I realized that I still prefer the feel of DSLR. For those who want a lighter camera why not consider Nikon d3xxx or d5xxx. They are very light, much less expensive yet give excellent IQ. Plus you can keep using your lenses.
