was away for 2 months and now having problems with creative cloud program. When I open lightroom and use either of my external hard drives keep getting message folders not found, photoshop icon and creative cloud icon do not open I tried to install new photos from SD cards and they would only go to c drive cant import to to lightroom. any help from tech gurus. I am on a PC using windows 10. Did not have this problem until recently I did install both of the new updates from CC for photoshop and lightroom.

First make sure the externals are plugged in, then check the usb ports to see if they failed or something. About a month ago someone had the same thing happen and found the cord had been unplugged.

All the externals were plugged in and all the usb ports are working with other devices.

Are the externals showing the same letter designation? If it was originally G drive is it still showing as G drive or another letter? Also, can you access the external drives using explorer or do you get an error?

Rename the drives to what they were. Then try. The icons may now also lead to a misnamed drive.

Adobe support is pretty good. I had a tech work with me for almost an hour when I had a problem with my stand alone copy of LR 6 on my laptop changing to the CC 2015 version, which I have on my desktop. Finally turned out I needed a second account with another e-mail address so the two versions could stay separate. It was the automatic updater that was changing LR 6 to CC 2015. He set up another account for me from their end.

That is what is going on here it is showing up as CC 2015 which Ido not remember being on my computer before I did an update. That could be it. I will report back when I have some answers.
Thank you for every ones help.

When the stand alone checks for up dates it sometimes pops up a window with more than one choice of update, you have to be careful which one you click. If it goes to CC 2015 and you have no payment method attached then after the trial period it deactivates everything. I get messages about my trial being over, or non payment sometimes and have to call support to get the messages killed. And I have auto pay on the account.
So I guess you could have failed to get trial over notices. The Adobe techs told me it is a recurring intermitant problem.

I use chats with almost all tech support contact. My hearing is challenged and accents make it impossible for comprehension.

Contacted Adobe support and did an online chat about my problem was told to check back on Monday to chat with the right tech, This morning turned on computer and Windows 10 went through an update for about 45 min. Following this I clicked on Adobe CC, which did not work last night, and there was an update to fix bugs. Ran this and now all seems fine, Has anyone else experienced this lately? But glad it is up and running I can now start working on my Alaska, Canada and US interstate 101 pics. If anyone has not done this area of our continent I do highly suggest it just wonderful.
