Welcome to the forum, Marion. Glad to have you with us!
Welcome Marion! You will enjoy you HH, the people, the photography, the tips, Along with helpful suggestions. So glad I found out about this site. Many years ago I lived up in the Adirondacks. I used to love the mornings when I would get up and it was -30° every tree looked like it came out of the deep-freeze. What I would've given for a digital camera then. Anyway welcome to UHH.
Marion,
Welcome to the Hog
Yes, I'm loving the versatility of the d750. With a mirrorless system I tried there were too many things it couldn't quite do well enough. With the d750 I never worry that it can meet the challenge and do what I want of it. It's not blazing fast like the d500 but it meets my needs.
Welcome to The Hog! Lots to learn here!

Yes, Fall foliage has been really beautiful this year. Plenty of the rich reds that have been absent in recent years. If I get a chance and can figure out how, I will upload a pic.
Welcome to UHH Marion, glad you joined us. Post some of your images when you can.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.

Welcome from Troy (really North Greenbush). As you know we have some great photo opportunities around here - Five Rivers, Thatcher Park, the Adirondacks, the Catskills and the Berkshires to name a few. My wife and I shot some foliage today in Taborton.

Hey Marion ... welcome. I just joined a couple days ago myself. Great bunch of shooters.

Hi Bud, my husband and I went from Guilderland up to Tupper Lake on Friday. It was total peak foliage. Beautiful but very hot to photograph with bright blue skies and zero clouds. Did catch the fog burning off of Indian lake. Next stop local - Thacker Park. Thanks for welcome.
