M31 - Prior to Matthew

Well the winds are blowing ...the rain is falling and Matthew is having it's way with the Carolina coasts. B E F O R E, the tropical winds arrived, I tried M31 again. The seeing conditions were rated worse than I had on my previous attempt but the data turned out better and I used fewer subs to boot. Go figure. It is better but no cigar!

Wow, great shot...you've had a lot of clouds this year, but isn't this your 1st hurricane?

T'was an 8 inch, Newtonian Astrograph F/4 on an Atlas Pro Mount......and thanks for the kind remarks by all. I was up last night - Matthew left and clear skies returned - the seeing was rated BAD but the data is looking much better than "Bad" ....the combination of 200 Flats, 20 Darks, 80 Bias, and 68 Subs are "cook'n" in PixInsight now. If it is any good I will upload
