The Chicago Cubs Baseball Team won 103 regular season games this year. The last time the Chicago Cubs won a World Series was 1908. Four years before the sinking of the Titanic. The Boston Red Sox finally won a World Series several years ago, not having won one since 1918. The Cubs defeated the San Francisco Giants yesterday at Chicago's Wrigley Field, 1-0. Will the curse be removed from the Cubs? Losing after winning 103 games would be another heartbreak for the city of Chicago.

I was raise close to Chicago (South Bend Indiana). As a Cub fan, I sure would love to see it.

This may be the year for the Cubbies! Two convincing wins so far over San Fran... I enjoyed seeing Bill Murray whooping it up in the stands!

If they win it all, I feel sorry for the Chicago Police Department. Those Cub fans will tear the city apart.

Sure would be nice to see the Cubs take it all after 108 years of disappointment. GO CUBS!! It's not yours to "win" it's yours to "lose"

I do not know if they could go to win the World Series but as a baseball team I only have praise for them.

I would love to se the cubs in the WS...except this year. I'm a Dodgers fan.

I remember that game very well. Bartman was unaware he was a victim of harm. He was escorted out of the stadium. His intent was to catch a souvenir ball. We will never know if the outfielder would have caught the ball for an Out?
