Bought a Canon XTI a few years ago that came with 3 EF S lenses, I have been shooting with L glass for a while and never gave these lenses another thought, there was a macro extension with the lenses so I thought I would try it out, the macro extender was junk but I was blown away buy the cheap 50mm prime lens, I shoot in RAW and used the free Canon DPP for these shots

I used Canon for twenty years because of the lenses. I don't think non-Canon users understand how good EF-mount lenses are, beginning at the very bottom of the line.

Some of my favorite images come from my oldest f/1.8 metal-mount / v1 lens. Great examples here Paris H!
