We are photo contest winners! Clingman's dome and hummingbirds

One of our local hospitals, Erlanger East, sponsored a photo contest to provide art work for their $50 million expansion project. The art work will be used "to further enhance the interior design of the new patient tower, lobbies and hallways." They will be on permanent display with credit and bios. I don't know how many entries there were or how many winners yet, but we were just notified that hubby (ggttc)'s photo "A view from the top of the Smokies" will be featured as a 40" x 60" (almost as big as me).
I had two winners, both hummingbird photos. I don't know how big mine will be (certainly not 5 foot hummingbirds, they might scare the children). We are both thrilled!

My local Kaiser center and clinics have photos all over, but no credits given, I often look at one and think "I have some better." But they have never had a contest to collect new ones. If they have one I may enter a few, but would suggest they give credit to the photographers, and maybe even designate sections (or the whole complex) to only photos by Kaiser members and employees with ID and credit.
Hmm! Have to look and see if they have a suggestion box type thing and send that idea in.

I must admit the fact that 2 of her photos won and only 1 of mine did irritates me. Hopefully they will be hung in a restroom.
When I expressed my opinion about that ...she said "yours will fit over urinals quite well".

Congratulations. If I were in that hospital I could spend a long time looking at no.1, less so at no's 2 & 3 - but that's not to distract from their quality.
