I like trees

I'm hoping that everyone will join me in posting interesting shots of trees. I love sharing my photos but I also love seeing others photos and getting ideas. I really feel like interaction is important. If you like a photo, take a minute and think about why you like the photo. I'm really hoping for some comments and critiques, some input. I love that we're all in one place and can learn from each other. So here we go, I'll post a couple to get us started.

Your bare-bones tree is lovely. I agree that trees offer never-ending, all-seasons photo ops!

I'm not really looking for an in depth critique of my work. I was only trying to engage other photographers in posting and discussing things we love to photograph. Perhaps I was wrong in thinking that others might like to enjoy just posting a few pictures and talking about photography. I wont make that mistake again.

My suggestions were meant as friendly overtures to encourage your discovery of all there is to offer on UHH. I'm perplexed by your response.

I'd like to suggest you look at your original post, where you specifically ask for 'comments and critiques'. Most folks here are a friendly bunch (with some glaring exceptions) we would like to welcome you, but I too am a bit confused at your response to suggestions from knowledgeable members. I hope you change your outlook, this is a very valuable place to disccuss and get feedback on photography.

I like #1 and #3. I don't care for a blue tree particularly, ThePhotographer!
