Wow Sue what a great find! This is a female Shadow Darner (Aeshna umbrosa). It is the latest flying darner in our area. I was at Goods this week and Shady Maple and only saw Wandering Gliders. And you always say you don't get good shots of dragons. Well done girl! Oh and by the way, this is a dragonfly. The very largest damselfly is about 4x smaller.
