Hello---I started back in the day of film, my parents were photographers. As I grew up I was exposed to the use of a camera at a early age. Did photography in the service (navy). Then for some reason drifted away to other interest. Now at a ripe old age ( 60++++) I find my self with a need to take more and more pix's. So here I am with a Nikon 5100 and the need to learn all that I have forgotten.

Thank you all. It has been a while, although I have had my D5100 for a few yrs. I just found this forum about a week ago. There does appear to be a lot of knowledgeable people here.
