Does The Nikon DF have Auto Focus??

Definitely. I think so many comments were made about manual focus because a lot people who have bought the camera have older manual focus Nikkor lenses and this camera is very adept at handling older glass that requires manual focus.

Yes (I did a quick web search to be sure). I also noticed that there may be a Nikon Df2 out soon.

Nikon Rumors speculates a Df2 will be released in conjunction with Nikon's 100th anniversary in July 2017.

I don't know if I Have that much restraint. Unless too many bells and whistles are added.

I would buy one if they remove some of the features on the Df and make it smaller and yet still an SLR. I hope the price won't be much higher than the current Df.

actually it is the lens that has af capability not the camera body. the df can use both af and mf lenses. It also has the af motor in the body so can use any Nikon af lenses.

because of all the talk of manual lenses, i wasn't so sure, either case, i purchased it, and my UPS truck will deliver it today.......I"m quite anxious to receive it...

What features are you talking about to be removed? Because of those features that make the Df different to the others! Df is not for every body unless you like and know how to use it's special "features"!
