Thanks very much Donna, Its a very important Castle in English History, it was built by William the Conqueror in 1066 when he landed for France, he then marched to Battle where he defeated King Harold to clam the crown of England, thus changing the course of history.

Beautifully backlit by that stunning morning sky. Your artful skill at composing landscapes is always evident,Geoff; always so well done. Learning this is on my "to do" list.

Thanks very much Carlysue, I guess its like most thing in life, if you have a passion for something you will probably see things about it that those who don't. I have always felt that if a scene doesn't stir you don't drop the shutter? its all about seeing what your looking at and really looking at what you are seeing, and not forgetting using every PP tool at your disposal to separate light layers and get the picture you want to remember the moment by.

Thanks again,

Geoff
