Two more Osprey/salmon photos.
Nice catch...
Lived in Coeur d' Alene 1967-1970.
Best catch, actual physical fishing catch of a 23.5 inch Bass from the little lake at the end of the main street at the end of town.
Best fun thing, golfing at Avondale on Hayden
Most dangerous, collecting money for a finance company office anywhere from Sand Point, north to the Canadian border.
Best photography... Hundreds of bald eagles summering at Wolf Bay Lodge on Lake Coeur d' Alene.
Worst winter 1969. Four feet of snow... In Town... 40 degrees below for 3.5 months. Activated in the Natl Guard unit for snow removal for three weeks. Engine in my New Firebird shut down for a week. Thawed it out with the electric blanket off our bed, turned on fetal for three weeks.
yeah, I remember Coeur d' Alene. Got the hell out in 1970. Headed for the tropics of Oregon's Willamette Valley and the Oregon Coast.

show quote)
Our Winters have been milder than normal lately. It hasn't gone below zero for many years. But, Oregon is a beautiful state especially along the coast. Unfortunately, my wife's arthritis would be much
worse due to the higher rainfall for 8 months of the year. My small pension stretches farther here than in Oregon, but I did give Oregon serious thought about living there after I retired from Arizona.
Thank you, Kuzano for your good reply. I appreciate it.
