Four photos of osprey and salmon including a crop of the first photo. I took these at Hayden Lake recently.
The salmon spawning has come to an end and the osprey are leaving until next year.
Photo #1: Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/1000 - f/14 - ISO @ 1250. Distance was about 125-150 feet.

Our ospreys would have been gone in August if it wasn't for a brief salmon spawning. Now they are gone until next March or April.
I am posting some of my osprey/salmon shots that I took in the last 2-3 weeks.
I will be waiting for the return of the Bald Eagles this December.
