I believe that this is the first time you have posted a comment on one of my posts and I surely am pleased that you did. I see that you live in one of my favorite vacation locations! You must have zillions of floral subjects...and twelve months a year!

Beautiful work! The dark purple fan flower is so pretty against the dark background and I love both the treatment and placement of the yellow flower. Your flowers make the heart sing - the tomatoes make the mouth water!

Love them all and I've never seen a fan flower, gorgeous color... my garden is done for the year, enjoy your tomatoes... and you captured the perfect shade of yellow!!!

Donna, I will try very hard to live up to your kind remarks! "Patio" tomatoes have a hard time living up to the standard set by some of the old varieties that we still grow in the yard...BETTER BOY and DELICIOUS.

Glad you stopped by, Carol! This is my first year with the Fan Flower and I need to read up on their care...The first flush of blooms was very long lasting but I only had minimal success in coaxing more blooms after that.

Thanks for visiting the post and for spending the time to add your kind comments. I'm in the midst of power washing the deck and re-sealing so I just removed all my plants in the permanent planters...amazing how fast the leaves are coming off the trees already!
