I just happened to see a friend's post on Facebook about this boat being in Kingston, NY for two days, so I was able to get some shots. Absolutely amazing! Be sure to look at the website to read the articles and watch the videos. It spent two days at the Maritime Museum on the Rondout Creek, right off the Hudson River. The Rondout also has a couple of PT boats and tugboats from the 1900s. It used to be a major barge-building area.

Nice, very nice. Details are great. Just a little bit of criticism...what about Norwegian girls ? They are blond and beautiful. All!

Ah, I forgot about that. Too late to change it now.

The close up of the dragon's head was an extreme crop.

The boat was named after Harald Halfdansson (Old Norse: Haraldr Hálfdanarson; c. 850 – c. 932), better known as Harald Hårfagre English: Harald Fairhair), was remembered by medieval historians as the first King of Norway. He was my 29th Great Grandfather.

I signed up for the DNA project a few years ago. I learned my Haplogroup(?). Whoopee!

I like all the videos and articles. I wouldn't want to sail it back to Norway, though.
