The is a very self-serving thing to think and probably makes you feel good about yourself and your racial opinions and you self-deluded political analysis.

However, if you look at history and at republican dominated area like Mississipi and Alabama and so forth, you will recognize the Democratic Party has been very good for Black citizens.

Remember Republican control of the South after 1965 drove many Blacks away. They didn't move to the big cities because life would be worse there, did they? In the 1930s and 1940s Black couldn't eat in restaurants in the South, couldn't stay in Hotels and Motels. Touring Big Bands generally didn't travel with Black singers or musicians because they couldn't find places for them to eat and sleep on the road.

Some of the liberal restaurants would agree to prepare food to Blacks to take back to the car or bus to eat.

In 1960 I was a member of a group kicked out of Denny's--in central Illinois--because one of our members was Black.

The last poll I saw, Trump was polling at 1% of the Black vote, and that was a statistical quirk relating to the margin of error. Gee, I wonder why Blacks don't want to vote for that old Racist, Trump?

Could it be he worked too hard trying to win their vote? Couldn't possibly be because he didn't address their issues, or perhaps because he talked down to them. Unanimity like this isn't common; usually the Republican get 20% or so of any voting group.

Remember Blacks constitute 13% of voters, and Hispanics constitute about 18%. That's 30-31% of the vote Republicans will lose before the firt ballot is cast. Another 20% of the voting population consists of single women--whom the Republican have constantly attacked.

Republicans will lose about 10% of the voting population that is Black, about 15% of the voting population that is hispanic, and about 15% of the voting population that is single women; they can't win elections losing that many votes before the first vote is cast.

That is why the Republicans can no longer win at the Presidential level, and will lose this time.

I just heard Obama say that he would take it as a personal insult if blacks did not vote for hillary. This is a patently racist statement. What would the press say if Gingrich or Juliani said that they would be insulted if whites did not vote for Trump. Obams is in the front line of the racial divide. Hillary says that her followers and she would be stronger together. Obama just insulter the American voting public, of all races. Hillary doesn't want the Americans to join her, she only wants the black to join her. Obama's statement is. perhaps. the ugliest political statement ever uttered.
